At the start of each semester, we will create a group agreement, otherwise known as a code of conduct that has been written collectively. (As a reference, we might refer to the School for Poetic Computation's code of conduct).
We will not speak over others.
We can choose to raise our hands before we speak.
We will respect other people's opinions.
We will have actionable and productive conversations and encourage different opinions.
We will be present during lectures and discussion.
We will not look at our devices when others are speaking.
We will take space and make space.
We will invite our peers to speak up.
We will not make assumptions.
We will give people the benefit of the doubt.
We will embrace awkward silences.
We will be open minded.
