1–3 students are assigned as note-takers for each guest speaker. It is their responsibility to add comprehensive notes into the respective g-doc, as well as blocks to the designer's channel in our group Are.na. This should include...
— (5) image blocks
— (5) reference links
— (10) text blocks
Each student will make their own personal channel for this Seminar. This channel will be exported as a PDF reader using print.are.na. You can choose to print yourself a copy using Lulu pocketbook
This should include...
— about (in the channel description)
— title (this does not have to be the title of the course. It should represent the key themes you find yourself collecting)
— at least 2–3 blocks from each designer
— Add your reader to this Arena channel before Wednesday 4/29
Consider...
— Sequence: for example, it doesn't need to be chronological. Could you sequence it by theme? Perhaps you only gather examples of typography, technology, etc. Is it visually sorted? For example, text only, image only, references only, etc).
— Plug your channel into print.are.na. Preview the PDF. Does this look the way you would like? If not, modify the order, mix text blocks so some are long, some are short, etc.
